Unstandardized Tutors
September 2007 / Web Design
About this project
Unstandardized Tutors is a local family-run business that offers a SAT tutoring alternative to some of the more well-known (but often expensive) corporate tutoring companies. This client wanted a website that would effectively communicate the company's individuality and separate it from the herd.
For this site's graphical theme, I decided to embrace a "school supply" aesthetic that is reminiscent of the inside of a locker. I designed the header to exude a rugged, paper look with scotch tape for accents. Post-it notes, paper clippings, and a highlighted yellow for links further drive this theme home.
For this project, I designed and delivered all graphical aspects of the header, logo, layout, and typography in Photoshop and Illustrator format. The website was then developed by Unstandardized Design.
